HEALING

    Healing I find myself

    Within and without.

    Healing within, with plants,

    Such as momo, cracker and magnolias,

    With palmita, cattle’s weed, guayacán,

    Cacaloxochil and Barbasco.

    Healing I find myself

    Within my body, through his light,

    And healing my soul, I find myself

    Through his voice.

    All together, the voice, plants and light,

    Working as a team they carry me

    To a new awakening

    And with the awakening

    I harbor the hopes

    Of a new me.

    Plants which heal my body

    From bruises and pains;

    Hopes, which foresee a liberated self,

    A new self healed in soul, mind and body,

    A new self to be free and happy,

    A new self taking flight in liberty.
